FAQ
How soon do you need my bouquet?
The sooner the better! This is because the fresher the flowers, the better the preservation outcome. It is recommended within 1-3 days of your event. If posting I recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery as this will arrive by 1pm the next day.
Can I drop off my bouquet?
Absolutely. If you are local to MK41 0LU you can drop off your bouquet. You will find our full address on the top tips & packaging guide sent to you upon booking. I leave a fresh vase of water out so you can drop off at any time that is convenient to you.
When will my frame be ready?
Our lead time is 5-6 months. This does vary depending on the time of year. During peak wedding season and the busy summer months it will be closer to 6 months. At the beginning on the year it could be less. However flower preservation is a timely process and we do not rush any frames. Quality is more important than speed in our eyes.
How will I receive my frame?
Your frame will be carefully & lovingly packaged & delivered to your door. Either hand delivered if you're local or delivered via courier.
Will my bouquet look exactly the same?
No, your flowers will not look exactly the same as when they were fresh. However, pretty close.
Flowers are organic materials and therefore nature will take its course. During the preservation process flowers naturally change. They can change in texture, colour or size. Some colours fade whilst some get deeper. Nature truly is magical but don't worry because your flowers will still look beautiful!
Do white flowers stay white?
White flowers tend to change colour once preserved. They tend to go a cream, beige, light brown or sometimes yellow colour. They still look beautiful but please do not expect a white bouquet to stay white. Preserved white flowers tend to keep their colour better than pressed flowers.
Can I throw my bouquet?
If we're totally honest we'd much prefer that you didn't. Throwing the bouquet will cause bruising which will show up when preserved, particularly on lighter colours. Please consider some other options, perhaps throw a bridesmaid bouquet or ask your florist to make up another small bouquet for throwing? Remember, the fresher the flowers arrive, the better the preservation outcome. With that said, it is your special day so you do you & what's important to you!
How long will my frame last?
This is a very difficult question to answer as there are a lot of factors involved. For example, it depends on how fresh your flowers arrived, the stage of life of the flowers, the temperature/humidity & the environment it is displayed in. The best tip we can give is to display your frame out of direct sunlight/heat or moisture and this will help your bouquet to last for years and years! Fading & some shedding may naturally occur due to nature taking its course however the beauty of the flowers will remain for years to come!
Can I order some extra frames as gifts?
Yes! We offer additional mini gift frames which make perfect gifts or are the perfect size for preserving buttonholes. The mini gift frames make the perfect keepsake for your loved ones. If you would like to order more than one additional frame we will need you to send us extra flowers, for example, a table piece or bridesmaid bouquets.
